I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you this was largely inspired by a drink in Kara Newman’s Cocktails for a Crowd, but having plenty of Townshends’ Bluebird Alpine Liqueur and absolutely no Benedictine…

The spice and hefty of the Bluebird Alpine Liqueur is pretty excellent on this drink, and the aromatics in the liqueur grounding the high notes in the citrus.

Bluebird Punch:
2 ½ oz @townshendsdistillery Bluebird Alpine Liqueur
1 ¾ oz mandarin purée
1 oz lemon juice
½ oz honey syrup

Add over big cubes in an old-fashioned or dof glass and stir gently until combined. Garnish with lemon and mandarin slices if you have them, but don’t worry if you don’t
